Our Story

Our founder arrived in London in 1993 as a hopeful yet somewhat lost Japanese ‘salaryman’ with a deep love of food.
Captivated by the vibrant culture and the boundless freedom London offered, he decided to call it his home.
Noticing a lack of authentic Japanese izakaya style restaurants, he was inspired to create a place where Londoners could experience the true flavours and warmth of Japanese hospitality.
Our restaurant is his dream brought to life, offering a genuine taste of Japan in the heart of London.
